A little while ago we were asked to make a few videos to teach people some basic folds for Money Origami.

We reluctantly agreed and.........

as a result have had hundreds and hundreds of people join up whom many regularly express their thanks and gratitude for sharing these videos with them. We have met some more friends, started a little community and helped people all along the way, learn origami to make works of art.

 

 

The original money origami videos, were only meant for our friends, to learn the basics of origami to make them progress on their own more easily so, they were a little rough around the edges, we even had to SPEED THEM UP in sections inorder to get them on to the internet. After all, we were hassled for months and months to make them, we had to sacrifice a lot of our own personal time to practice, shoot and edit the instructions inorder to get them out there in to the public domain. Not that we are moaning or begrudge making them in anyway, we just decided that we did not want to start paying for the bandwidth as well!

The point we are making is this, the original videos were OK, we could have made them better, and we certaily would have if, we had predictied the impact we would make.

We uploaded the money origami instructions to the internet a few months ago and, before we knew it we were getting the most amazing feedback from you guys. Not just from our friends BUT FROM PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD.

 

What ment to be a some videos for our friends turned out to inspire people, towns and nations across the globe which has inspired us to make some new and better dollar bill origami instructions for everyone.

So, Here is what we have Done....

Based on the contacts we have made, and the great feedback received from the last set of money origami instructions, we are developing some more free videos as well as, a more informative and regular newsletter. We are also working on a 'little secret' project that will include each and everyone of you (Free of course) that will help you all learn together as a group.

We want to continue spreading the word of Orikane, and also encourage others to do so. We want to push the boundries of money origami and create the community to build its foundations.

We are planning out the first edition of the letter as we speak, and we must say are very excited about it.

We have a world famous Origami Expert guest interview lined up, a new fold to reveal and even some fantastic updates to the Orikane Gallery.
